Douro DOC Reserva White 2017 – 6 Bottles
A case of six bottles of Douro DOC Reserva white wine.
Description
level. The west-facing slopes ensure intense and prolonged sun exposure during the ripening period.
The grape varieties are among the most traditional in the Douro: Viosinho (40%), Rabigato (20%), Malvasia Fina (20%) and Códega do Larinho (20%). The winemaking process employed temperature-controlled techniques to slow fermentation, aiming to extract the full richness of aromas and flavours from the grapes, enhanced by the distinctive mineral composition of the terroir.
The result is a golden-coloured wine with exceptional clarity and intense aromas of ripe fruit. The palate is velvety, with restrained acidity, while retaining the freshness and characteristic astringency of Códega. The finish is long and lingering.
The superior quality of the grapes and the meticulous winemaking process resulted in an exceptional wine, awarded the Reserva classification by the IVDP tasting panel.
