Douro DOC Reserva Red 2017 – 6 Bottles

Grapes grown in two distinct vineyards: Palame and Barreiro. At Palame, we used Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz in balanced proportions, as these varieties are juicier and have a lower potential alcohol content. At Barreiro, we harvested Touriga Nacional grapes, which ripen earlier and more fully, benefiting from the clay-rich soil and south-facing orientation.

The grapes were crushed in a traditional lagar, respecting the customary fermentation and maturation periods. The fermenting grape mixture was then transferred to a stainless steel tank, where the final stages of winemaking took place.

The result is a clear, bright ruby-coloured wine with an intense flavour, yet without harshness or excessive acidity, making it particularly enjoyable during calm and relaxing moments. The finish reveals character, evoking notes of fully ripened red fruits. This wine was recognised for its superior quality and awarded the Reserva classification by the IVDP tasting panel.
